And I ran into him airing his tires at a Tom Thumb, first time I'd seen the car in person(he's had a Italia and Spyder before they came out with the Speciale) and all I can say is that this thing completely puts them all to shame. The ducting around the headlights makes the front end look so much more balanced, and the bare carbon engine bay was pure sex. Only thing I saw that made me go whaaaaaaa? was the fact that these beautiful exhaust tips:
Are hiding a dirty, dirty little secret. They used fake tips that bolt to the bumper to hide the bare steel(probably titanium) smaller tips of the actual exhaust system about 3 inches inside.

I will get one next time I see it, I'm currently rocking like a 62 year old Motorola Droid 3(with slide out keyboard) and didn't want to take the time, he was trying to get somewhere.

I'd literally have to. The used ones are selling for way over what the buyers paid for them. There is a 900 mile one locally for $450K

That's because they're only importing like 200-something of them to the US... they're going to be one of the rarer ones out there.
His list of cars includes:
1984 512 BBi
2001 550 Maranello
2001 550 Barchetta
2004 Challenge Stradale
2006 F430 Spider
2008 599 GTB Series
2011 599 GTO
2014 458S
TWO Radical SR3's(yes freaking TWO OF THEM)
1994 RX7 Track Car
2009 Corvette ZR1 Track Car
2006 Aston Martin DB9
I know I'm forgetting a few...

HTC One M8. I only like the Original Droid, the 2 and 3 didn't appeal to me.

His name is George(I'm not really sure if he'd like me giving out his last name on the interwebz), and he lives in Florida and races sailboats, so you could probably figure out who he was or if he's the same guy from that.

I think the US is getting a lot more than 200 of the 458S Coupe. The spider version will probably have around 180 coming to the US because there will only be 458 of them built total. The worldwide production for the coupe is probably going to be between 1000-2500 units. I think the F430 Scud production was around 2000 total.
But regardless of how many are made it will be a sick car and the last special edition mid-engine V8 car with a N/A engine. So much want.
Why does your friend have so much cool stuff? Is he like the king of the Britons?
So many Ferraris... And a DB9. And a ZR1 track car. Jesus.

I was just quoting what I heard, which could be very very wrong.
And he is just very well seated in the 1% and enjoys fast boats and fast cars. I'd say the sailboats he currently owns and campaigns outweigh the car expenditures by a healthy margin.

So jelly. I'm doing well but by no means a 1%-er
I can't even imagine having boat(s). That's when you're truly wealthy. You need to have a ton of cash in the bank to spend it on expensive boats.

He used to have two of these and raced them all the time all over the world(like putting them in shipping containers so they'd be in the Med for that season, then Australia, then all over the US).
Now he has one of these that's the new race boat(along with giant-ass semi-truck and trailer to tow it to races):
And he also has the big brother to that boat that's the 'cruising' one.
